My Natal Chart (Koch)

First: A word about houses.

I was a staunch follower of the Pollich-Page / Topocentric house system for a long time. It made sense to me that if astrology were truly accurate and worked for every human being, it would therefore have to be able to be calculated at any latitude on the earth. Several weeks ago, however, an astrology blog I follow on tumblr spent a few days answering asks about house systems, and this person preferred Koch. I initially wrote it off because of the latitude problem until I eventually checked my own chart.

It was hard to swallow at first. I wanted my third house cusp in Pisces, not Aquarius. I wanted my moon in the second house, not third. I wanted my ninth house cup in Virgo, not Leo. I gave it time, thought, and research, and have finally come to accept that, at least for my natal chart, Koch houses are much more accurate. I'm still experimenting with others' natal charts with different house systems, but so far it still seems to fit.

Of course this leaves me up a crick with the latitude problem. In those cases I'll probably compare Polich-Page and Porphyry to see what fits. I haven't come across an actual person I know who falls into this category, so it's hard to know just yet.
